The Endura
The Endura Forged Carbon Fibre ballpoint belongs to the Endura line, which Conklin (founded in Toledo, Ohio in 1898) first introduced in the 1920s. Like today's Endura range, the Endura Forged Carbon Fibre ballpoint keeps a classic, gently tapered shape with a sturdy clip.
The material
The Endura Forged Carbon Fibre ballpoint is made of forged carbon, created by pressing chopped carbon fibres under heat and pressure for a marbled, stone-like pattern rather than the usual woven look. Gunmetal trim and a metal grip keep the Endura Forged Carbon Fibre ballpoint dark and technical.
Twist-action ballpoint
A twist of the Endura Forged Carbon Fibre ballpoint extends and retracts the tip, and it takes a standard Parker-style ballpoint refill, so replacements are easy to find.
Size and weight
The Endura Forged Carbon Fibre ballpoint is 135mm long and weighs about 34g, solid enough to feel substantial in the hand.
