The Northern Lights in your hand: the Aurora 88 Fountain Pen in Boreale CT is a limited edition of 688 pieces, made from iridescent blue and emerald-green auroloide.
Boreale takes its colours from the Northern Lights. The Aurora 88 Boreale shifts between deep blue and emerald green with a soft pearlescent glow, framed by chrome trim.
Auroloide is Aurora's own resin, known for its depth and shimmer. Each Aurora 88 Boreale is turned in Turin, so the pattern varies from pen to pen.
A rhodium-plated 18K gold nib made by Aurora, which we offer in Extra Fine, Fine, Medium and Broad, gives the Aurora 88 Boreale a smooth Italian line. It fills from a bottle with its piston, and retailers note a special turquoise ink accompanies the edition.
Aurora limited the edition to 688 pieces worldwide.
Aurora's proprietary resin, valued for its iridescent depth.
With a built-in piston, straight from a bottle.
