The barley pattern
Barley guilloche is one of the most traditional decorations for silver pens, a finely engraved texture that sparkles under light and hides fingerprints. On the Tango, it gives the 39g silver body a rich, heirloom character.
Made by Waldmann in Germany
The Tango Barley comes from Waldmann, a German maker of sterling silver writing instruments based in Birkenfeld near Pforzheim, a town famous for jewellery and fine metalwork. The Tango Barley pen reflects that heritage, with platinum-plated details and a polished stainless steel nib.
Caring for sterling silver
The sterling silver of the Tango Barley naturally develops a soft patina over time. A gentle wipe with a silver polishing cloth restores the Tango Barley to a bright shine, and regular use helps keep it looking its best.
