Fill once, write for days
The Homo Sapiens Dark Sapphire fountain pen uses Visconti's double reservoir power filler, a vacuum system that fills the barrel in one stroke and holds about 3.6ml. A small reserve chamber in the Homo Sapiens Dark Sapphire fountain pen keeps some ink back for when the main supply runs low.
Nib and closure
The Homo Sapiens Dark Sapphire fountain pen has a silver-coloured 18K gold nib, which we offer in Extra Fine, Fine, Medium, Broad and a 1.3mm stub. The Hook Safe Lock secures the cap with a quarter turn.
