Description
Warm, rich and just a little nostalgic, the TWSBI Eco Rootbeer with Bronze Trim is a 2026 special edition of TWSBI's much-loved piston filler. Its translucent rootbeer-brown cap and piston knob are paired with bronze PVD trim and a matching bronze-coloured steel nib.
Key highlights
- Edition: 2026 special edition
- Look: clear barrel, translucent rootbeer-brown cap and piston knob
- Trim: bronze PVD
- Nib: bronze-coloured stainless steel, EF to 1.1 stub
- Filling: piston, about 1.8ml
- Size: about 139mm closed, 21g
- In the box: pen, wrench, silicone grease and instructions
Why it costs more than a standard Eco
The Rootbeer edition goes beyond a new resin colour. TWSBI gave it bronze PVD-coated trim and a bronze-finished nib, the kind of detail usually reserved for more expensive pens. The result is a warm, coordinated look from the clip to the tip.
A colour like a fizzy drink
Hold the cap up to the light and you will see the deep, glowing brown of a glass of root beer. Against the clear barrel, it looks wonderful with brown, amber, orange and sepia inks, or with a contrasting teal for something bolder.
All the Eco essentials
- Built-in piston filler holding about 1.8ml of ink
- Demonstrator barrel to see your ink level at a glance
- Hexagonal screw cap that stops the pen rolling off your desk
- Wrench and silicone grease included for easy maintenance
Nib options
Choose from Extra Fine, Fine, Medium, Broad or a 1.1mm Stub. All are stainless steel with a bronze finish to match the trim. For brown and sepia inks, the Stub brings out lovely shading.
