Sailor Professional Gear Iriomote Cat Fountain Pen - Brown GT (Special Edition)
A fountain pen with a soft spot for wildlife. The Sailor Professional Gear Iriomote Cat Fountain Pen is a playful special edition that celebrates one of the rarest wild cats on Earth.
The Iriomote cat lives only on Iriomote Island in Okinawa, in the far south of Japan, and it is critically endangered. Sailor made the Sailor Iriomote Cat Pro Gear for overseas markets, and a portion of the proceeds supports conservation of the cat and protection of Okinawa's natural environment, so the Sailor Iriomote Cat Pro Gear is a gift that gives back.
Design inspired by the cat
The Sailor Iriomote Cat Pro Gear has a warm chocolate-brown body, with the cat's spotted coat pattern on the cap and charming illustrations of a mother cat and her kitten around the barrel. Gold-plated trim completes the look.
The Professional Gear shape
The Pro Gear is Sailor's flat-topped classic, a design loved for its balance and comfortable grip. The Sailor Iriomote Cat Pro Gear uses the standard size, with a secure screw cap that posts for longer writing.
Gold-plated steel nib
The Sailor Iriomote Cat Pro Gear writes with a hand-finished stainless steel nib, plated in gold. We offer Extra Fine, Fine, Medium Fine, Medium and Broad; Japanese nibs write finer than European ones, so choose a size up if you like a bolder line.
Filling
The Sailor Iriomote Cat Pro Gear takes Sailor cartridges or the included converter for bottled ink, and Sailor adds a collectible Iriomote cat sticker in the box.
Size
The Sailor Iriomote Cat Pro Gear is 141mm long capped, 153mm posted and 13.2mm in diameter, and weighs about 20g.
