Sailor Fountain Pen Standard Converter - Purple
A splash of colour inside your pen. The Sailor Standard Converter in Purple, item 14-0506-250, lets you fill your Sailor fountain pen from any bottle of ink instead of using cartridges.
Sailor, Japan's fountain pen maker since 1911, makes some of the world's most loved inks, and the Sailor Purple converter is the easiest way to enjoy them in your Sailor pen.
How it works
Push the Sailor Purple converter onto the feed in place of a cartridge, dip the nib into the ink and twist the knob to draw ink up. It holds roughly 0.5ml.
Which pens it fits
The Sailor Purple converter fits most Sailor fountain pens that take Sailor cartridges, such as the Pro Gear, 1911 and Profit families. The Sailor Purple converter does not fit pens that use other brands' cartridges.
Why a converter
With the Sailor Purple converter, you can choose from hundreds of bottled inks, and refilling is economical and less wasteful than cartridges.
