Sailor 1911L Casual Muted Fountain Pen - Black GT
The look of a traditional Japanese pen, made for every day. The Sailor 1911L Casual Muted Fountain Pen in Black GT has the same size and shape as Sailor's much-loved 1911 Large, finished in classic black, with the timeless look of a traditional Sailor.
Sailor has made fountain pens in Japan since 1911, and the Casual series, which includes the Sailor 1911L Casual Black, keeps the signature cigar shape of the 1911 and pairs it with a steel nib, making the Sailor 1911L Casual Black a great way into the world of Sailor.
Muted colours
The muted palette is gentle and sophisticated, and the Sailor 1911L Casual Black looks right at home in the office, the classroom or a leather pen case. Gold-plated trim adds a touch of warmth.
Weighted brass section
The grip section of the Sailor 1911L Casual Black is made of brass with a gold-coloured finish, which lowers the centre of gravity and gives the pen a steady, balanced feel in the hand.
Gold-plated steel nib
The Sailor 1911L Casual Black has a hand-finished stainless steel nib plated in gold. We offer the Sailor 1911L Casual Black in Extra Fine, Fine, Medium Fine, Medium and Broad; Japanese nibs write a little finer than European ones.
Filling
The Sailor 1911L Casual Black uses Sailor cartridges (about 1.21ml) or the included Sailor converter (about 0.70ml) for bottled inks.
Size
The Sailor 1911L Casual Black is 140.7mm long capped, 153.4mm posted and 13.1mm in diameter, and weighs about 24g. Its screw cap posts.
