Description
Warm, juicy and impossible to ignore: Private Reserve Orange Crush is a deep pumpkin orange with plenty of red in it.
Character
- Colour: a red-leaning orange, darker than a citrus orange
- Saturation: high, for a strong and vivid line
- Shading: medium, visible in broader nibs
- Flow: well lubricated, pleasant in dry-writing pens
A note for long-time fans
The current formula is a richer red-orange than the lighter, yellowish Orange Crush of years ago, so expect a warmer colour if you remember the old bottles.
Ideas for using it
Headings, festive cards, Diwali greetings, highlighting and editing. It is lively enough for sketching too.
Tips
Quality paper keeps the edges sharp; on absorbent paper this wet ink can feather. It is not water resistant.
