Description
Platinum Preppy Wa 3rd Modern Maki-e Fountain Pen - Tsubaki (Limited Edition)
Camellias in bloom. The Platinum Preppy Wa Modern Maki-e Fountain Pen in Tsubaki decorates the much-loved Preppy with the tsubaki, or camellia, a flower that blooms even in the cold months and stands for elegance and resilience.
The Preppy Wa series uses modern maki-e printing to bring Japanese lacquer art to an affordable pen, and the Platinum Preppy Wa Tsubaki is one of six patterns in the 2025 third edition, each with an auspicious meaning. The Platinum Preppy Wa Tsubaki has blue accents on a clear body.
The pen inside
Under the artwork, the Platinum Preppy Wa Tsubaki is a Platinum Preppy, one of the most popular starter fountain pens in the world. The Platinum Preppy Wa Tsubaki has a 0.3mm Fine steel nib for a neat, precise line.
Slip & Seal cap
The Platinum Preppy Wa Tsubaki has Platinum's Slip & Seal cap, which keeps the nib from drying out between uses, so the Platinum Preppy Wa Tsubaki is ready to write when you are.
Ink
One Platinum ink cartridge comes with the Platinum Preppy Wa Tsubaki. The Platinum Preppy Wa Tsubaki takes Platinum cartridges, or a Platinum converter (sold separately).
