Description
Every autumn, Japan's hillsides blaze with the red of maple leaves, a sight so loved that people travel just to see it. That's momiji, and it's the inspiration for Pilot Iroshizuku Momiji, a bright red-pink fountain pen ink in a handy 15ml bottle.
What the colour looks like
Momiji sits between red and pink: vivid, warm and full of life. It's softer than a signal red, which makes it lovely for long passages of writing as well as for highlights and headings.
How people use it
- Marking up drafts and study notes without the harshness of pure red
- Festive cards, invitations and thank-you notes
- Colour-coding planners and bullet journals
- Signatures that feel personal and warm
From Pilot's Iroshizuku range
Iroshizuku is Pilot's premium line of fountain pen inks, and every shade in it is named after something from nature or the Japanese seasons. Momiji is one of the most recognisable reds in the collection.
Why the small bottle?
15ml is ideal for sampling a colour, keeping a range of inks without clutter, or gifting to a friend who's just discovered fountain pens.
Properties
Momiji has no shimmer, isn't fast drying and isn't water resistant.
