Description
Picture sunlight filtering through a tall bamboo grove. Pilot Iroshizuku Chiku Rin takes its name from the bamboo forest (chiku-rin), and its fresh light green colour brings that peaceful scene straight onto your page. This bottle holds 15ml.
A green that feels calm
Chiku Rin is a natural, slightly yellowish green: fresh, gentle and easy on the eyes. It's a lovely change from blue and black, and it makes journaling feel calmer and more creative.
Perfect for
Nature journals, travel diaries, study notes and colour-coding in planners. Teachers sometimes like green as a softer alternative to red for marking work, too.
The Iroshizuku collection
Iroshizuku is Pilot's premium Japanese ink range, where every colour is inspired by the natural world. Chiku Rin is one of its signature greens.
Tips for the best colour
A medium or broad nib will show more of Chiku Rin's colour, and bright white paper brings out its freshness. Flush your pen with water between ink changes to keep the colour true.
Specifications to note
Chiku Rin has no shimmer, isn't fast drying and isn't water resistant.
