A voyage in colour
The design of the Decimo 20th Anniversary looks back to 1925, when Pilot's founders set out from Yokohama with Japanese-made gold-nib pens. Its finish fades from deep indigo to warm coral pink, like a starry sky giving way to dawn, and the stars are applied by rotary silk printing.
Click, write, click
Like every Capless, the Decimo 20th Anniversary has no cap: press the knock and the nib slides out from the tip; press again and it retracts behind a trapdoor that keeps ink from drying. The Decimo is the slimmest and lightest Capless, at about 21g.
Nib and filling
The Decimo 20th Anniversary has Pilot's small 18K gold Capless nib, rhodium plated, in Fine or Medium. It takes Pilot cartridges or the included CON-40 converter.
