A snake in silver
The Cobra's silver barrel catches the light like the scales of a snake, while the deep black cap gives a strong, high-contrast look. Gold trim adds warmth. Omas produces the Cobra in limited quantities.
Piston filling
Like the classic Omas pens, the Cobra fills by piston: turn the end of the barrel, dip the nib in bottled ink and draw it up. There are no cartridges or converters to buy.
Gold nib, including Kodachi
The No. 6 nib is 14K gold on an ebonite feed. Besides Extra Fine to Broad, the Omas Cobra is offered with a Kodachi grind by Japanese nibsmith Yukio Nagahara, inspired by calligraphy: held upright it writes fine lines, and at an angle it lays down broad strokes.
