Description
Omas Bologna Fountain Pen - Galassia Argento GT (Limited Edition)
A galaxy you can hold. The Omas Bologna Fountain Pen in Galassia Argento pairs a deep, night-sky cellulose acetate barrel with a cap of sterling silver, in a numbered edition of just 100 pieces worldwide.
Omas was founded in Bologna in 1925 and became one of Italy's most admired pen makers. The Bologna is its classic shape, and 'Galassia' is Italian for galaxy: the Omas Galassia Argento captures the shimmer of a starry night sky, set off by bright silver.
Night-sky acetate
The barrel of the Omas Galassia Argento is made of premium cellulose acetate, a warm, traditional pen material with real depth, in dark tones flecked like a distant galaxy.
Sterling silver cap
The cap of the Omas Galassia Argento is sterling silver with a fine guilloché pattern, and the gold trim is accented with a sapphire.
Piston filling and 14K nib
The Omas Galassia Argento is a traditional piston filler, drawing bottled ink straight into the barrel. It writes with a No.6 14K gold nib on an ebonite feed, in Extra Fine, Fine, Medium or Broad.
Size
The Omas Galassia Argento is 143.5mm long capped, 169mm posted and 13mm in diameter, and weighs about 25g, a light, balanced pen for long writing.
