The Endura
The Endura Forged Carbon Fibre rollerball belongs to the Endura line, which Conklin (founded in Toledo, Ohio in 1898) first introduced in the 1920s. Like today's Endura range, the Endura Forged Carbon Fibre rollerball keeps a classic, gently tapered shape with a sturdy clip.
The material
The Endura Forged Carbon Fibre rollerball is made of forged carbon, created by pressing chopped carbon fibres under heat and pressure for a marbled, stone-like pattern rather than the usual woven look. Gunmetal trim and a metal grip keep the Endura Forged Carbon Fibre rollerball dark and technical.
Rollerball writing
The Endura Forged Carbon Fibre rollerball writes with a smooth rollerball refill and has the same screw cap as the fountain pen, which posts on the barrel while you write.
Size and weight
The Endura Forged Carbon Fibre rollerball is 135mm long capped and 164mm posted, and at about 40g it has a weighty, well-built feel.
