The Endura
The Endura Abalone Wood fountain pen belongs to the Endura line, which Conklin (founded in Toledo, Ohio in 1898) first introduced in the 1920s. Like today's Endura range, the Endura Abalone Wood fountain pen keeps a classic, gently tapered shape with a sturdy clip.
The material
On the Endura Abalone Wood fountain pen, abalone, the iridescent inner layer of a sea shell, glows with blues, greens, purples and pinks as it catches the light. Combined with natural wood and rose gold-plated trim, it gives the Endura Abalone Wood fountain pen a warm, organic character.
A JoWo steel nib
The Endura Abalone Wood fountain pen has a German-made JoWo #6 steel nib, which we offer in Fine, Medium and Broad. Fill the Endura Abalone Wood fountain pen with standard international cartridges or the included converter.
Cap and balance
A screw cap opens in about one turn and posts securely, taking the Endura Abalone Wood fountain pen from 135mm closed to 164mm posted. At about 39g the Endura Abalone Wood fountain pen has a substantial, confident feel.
