Description
The Lamy Studio ball pen in Petrol is German design at its most elegant. Petrol is a deep, sophisticated teal, and on the Lamy Studio's lacquered metal body it looks superb. This is a Special Edition colour, so it won't be around forever. Chrome trim adds contrast, and the Studio's clean, rounded silhouette makes it one of the most comfortable premium ball pens to hold.
Lamy Studio: timeless German design
Lamy is known for modern, functional design, and the Studio is one of its best-loved ranges. This ball pen is made of lacquered metal, measures 141mm long with a 12mm diameter, and weighs 32g, giving it a solid, balanced feel that makes writing feel steady and deliberate.
Twist mechanism, no cap to lose
Instead of a cap or a click button, the Studio ball pen uses a twist mechanism: a smooth turn extends the refill and another turn retracts it. It's quiet, reliable and ideal for meetings, signing documents and everyday note-taking.
Why choose a ball pen?
A ballpoint's oil-based ink dries almost instantly, doesn't smudge and writes on almost any paper, including glossy forms and receipts. It's also the most travel-friendly type of pen, with very little risk of leaking on flights.
