The Endura
The Endura Abalone Wood ballpoint belongs to the Endura line, which Conklin (founded in Toledo, Ohio in 1898) first introduced in the 1920s. Like today's Endura range, the Endura Abalone Wood ballpoint keeps a classic, gently tapered shape with a sturdy clip.
The material
On the Endura Abalone Wood ballpoint, abalone, the iridescent inner layer of a sea shell, glows with blues, greens, purples and pinks as it catches the light. Combined with natural wood and rose gold-plated trim, it gives the Endura Abalone Wood ballpoint a warm, organic character.
Twist-action ballpoint
A twist of the Endura Abalone Wood ballpoint extends and retracts the tip, and it takes a standard Parker-style ballpoint refill, so replacements are easy to find.
Size and weight
The Endura Abalone Wood ballpoint is 135mm long and weighs about 35g, solid enough to feel substantial in the hand.
