Description
Primary colours, perfectly paired: the Leuchtturm1917 Bauhaus Edition Hard Cover Notebook in Red (A5, Dotted), article 359619, honours the centenary of the Bauhaus, the German school of art and design founded in 1919.
The colour story
Each Bauhaus Edition notebook pairs its cover with a contrasting colour inside. On this red edition, the page edges and the dot grid are printed in blue, a nod to the bold primary palette that the Bauhaus made famous.
Details worth noticing
- "Everything starts from a dot", Wassily Kandinsky's words, embossed on the front cover
- A short profile of Kandinsky on the endpaper
- Official 100 years of Bauhaus logo
- Part of the "100 Years of Bauhaus" collection, a Red Dot Product Design award winner in 2019
Everyday practicality
Inside are 251 numbered pages of 80gsm FSC-certified paper, a blank index, 2 ribbon page markers, 8 perforated sheets, a gusseted pocket at the back and a sticker set for labelling.
