A monochrome pink AL-star
Flamingo is a gentle, muted pink rather than a loud one. With the clip finished in the same colour, the Flamingo AL-star has a calm, all-over look that feels modern and grown-up.
The AL-star design
The AL-star shares the shape of Lamy's famous safari but is made from lightweight aluminium. The moulded grip section of the Flamingo AL-star guides your fingers into a comfortable position, which makes it a great first fountain pen.
Filling and nib
The Flamingo AL-star takes Lamy T10 cartridges, or bottled ink with the Lamy Z28 converter. Choose a steel nib in Extra Fine, Fine or Medium; Lamy nibs are easy to swap later. It measures 139.5mm capped and 164mm posted.
