Why a foldable converter?
Standard converters are too long for Kaweco's pocket-sized pens. On the Mini Foldable Converter the turning knob folds down when you have finished filling, so the converter is short enough to sit inside the barrel and the pen still closes properly.
How to fill
Push the Mini Foldable Converter into the pen in place of a cartridge, unfold the knob and turn it to push the piston down. Dip the nib into the ink bottle, turn the knob back to draw ink in, then wipe the nib and fold the knob away. The Kaweco Mini Foldable Converter holds about 0.4ml.
