Description

Sleek, streamlined and a little retro. The Hongdian C1 Hooded Nib Fountain Pen in Green with Black Trim hides its steel nib inside a smooth hooded section, giving the pen a clean, torpedo-like profile in green metal.

Key highlights

  • Model: Hongdian C1
  • Colour: green
  • Body: metal
  • Trim: black
  • Nib: hooded steel, Medium
  • Filling: cartridge or converter (included)

Why a hooded nib?

A hooded nib is partly covered by the section, a style made famous by classic mid-century pens. It keeps the Green C1's lines smooth, helps the ink stay moist between strokes and gives a neat, firm writing feel that suits quick notes.

Green with black

A green body and black trim give the C1 a modern, understated look. It is a stylish everyday pen for students and professionals, and it pairs nicely with green or blue-black inks.

Easy everyday use

The Green C1 has a snap cap that posts on the barrel, and it comes with a converter for bottled ink; it also takes cartridges. Its metal body gives it a solid, comfortable feel.

Beautiful Pen

My first purchase from makoba. It’s a wonderful fountain pen for small handwriting. The point is finer than a usual Lamy fine nib. And the pen writes with a buttery smooth texture on Tomoe river paper.
It was also delivered very quickly after ordering. The packaging was very nice. Would love to purchase from Makoba again.

Pilot Kakuno Azure Sky Fountain Pen - Light Blue

Pilot Kakuno

I bought this pen after hearing good things about it, but I didn’t expect much since everyone said it was just an entry-level pen. Turns, they were completely wrong. No one mentioned that once you use it, you’ll fall in love with it. They also left out the part about judging a book by its cover. This pen exceeds every standard I use to judge a pen—it’s simply fabulous. I absolutely love it, and it’s become my everyday carry.

The Pilot con-40 fountain pen writes like a dream. And the Leuchtturm 1917 notebook is gorgeous! The design is so thoughtful. I especially love the little pouch in the back cover!

Best first time experience with MAKOBA

I just bought my very first fountain pen the pilot kakuno madoromi series
I was really nervous about it, will it arrive on time or not is the only question that was going through my head
But on the day it arrived the packaging was super safe I mean it took me 5 min just to remove the packaging, the pen was perfect fine, sealed and not a scratch on it.
The only problem was that it arrived 2 days late.
But overall the experience was great I would love to shop again with Makiba

It’s a fantastic pen, the grip section is very comfortable. Had to switch out the fine nib for medium, medium is more to my taste but it writes very nicely now.
