Part of the 1898 collection
The 1898 Spectra Fusion Blue rollerball takes its shape from Conklin's 1898 line, named for the company's founding year in Toledo, Ohio: a cigar profile, an engraved cap ring and the crescent clip.
Fused by hand
To make the 1898 Spectra Fusion Blue rollerball, Conklin pours pigmented epoxy around stabilized maple burl before turning and polishing it, so the boundary between wood and colour differs on every pen.
Rollerball writing
The 1898 Spectra Fusion Blue rollerball writes with a gel rollerball refill for a smooth, dark line. Its screw cap posts while you write.
