Cosmic Blue is a limited holiday collection from Caran d'Ache, inspired by the night sky, which also includes special 849, Ecridor and Leman pens and metallic colour pencil sets. Caran d'Ache says the Cosmic Blue sharpening machine is the first version of its sharpener with golden details.
How it sharpens
Insert a pencil, turn the handle, and the Cosmic Blue sharpening machine shapes an even point. It takes round and hexagonal pencils and pastels from 4 to 10mm across, and you can adjust the type of point you want.
Built to last
Made of metal and weighing over a kilo, the Cosmic Blue sharpening machine sits firmly on a desk or studio table. It suits graphite and colour pencils alike, making it as useful to artists as it is decorative.
