Description
The TWSBI Eco White Cherry Blossom fountain pen is a Limited Edition take on one of the world's most popular piston-filling pens. The white resin body and chrome trim give it a soft, springtime feel, and underneath is everything that has made the TWSBI Eco a favourite: a huge ink capacity, a smooth steel nib and excellent value. If you're looking for the best piston filler fountain pen for beginners, the Eco is almost always on the list.
Built-in piston filler with 1.8ml capacity
The Eco fills with a built-in piston. Just dip the nib in a bottle of ink and turn the knob at the end of the barrel. It holds about 1.8ml of ink, which is much more than most cartridge pens, so you can write for days between refills and use any bottled ink you like.
Five nib options, including a 1.1 Stub
Pick a steel nib in Extra Fine, Fine, Medium or Broad, or choose the Stub 1.1. A stub nib has a flat, squared-off tip that makes downstrokes broader and cross-strokes thinner, adding elegant line variation to everyday handwriting. It's a great introduction to italic-style writing without needing a dedicated calligraphy pen.
Light, comfortable and practical
The Eco is light at 21g in total (8g cap, 13g barrel), measures 139mm capped and 167.5mm posted, and has a 12.8mm diameter. The screw cap keeps the nib from drying out, and the pen is easy to take apart for cleaning.
