Paper and layout
At 100 gsm, the paper is on the heavier side for a notepad, which helps it handle fountain pens, roller balls and gel pens with less show-through and bleed-through than ordinary notebook paper. A hard case binding protects your pages and gives you a firm surface to write on, even on your lap.
Who is it for?
We think it suits anyone who journals, plans or takes notes daily, and it works beautifully as a corporate or personal gift. Pair it with a pen for a complete writing set.
Choosing the right pen for it
The right pen makes a good notepad even better. Ballpoints and pencils work on any paper, while roller balls and fountain pens show off the paper's smoothness. For fountain pens, finer nibs and well-behaved inks give the crispest lines; try a broad nib on the back page first. You will find great pairings in our fountain pens and inks.
Care tips
Keep it away from water and direct heat, store it flat or upright on a shelf, and close it when not in use to keep the pages crisp. Let fountain pen ink dry for a few seconds before closing the cover to avoid transfer onto the facing page.
