The Montegrappa Automobili Lamborghini Miura Fountain Pen in Giallo Fly celebrates 60 years of the Lamborghini Miura, finished in Giallo Fly, the bright, sunny yellow that is one of the Miura's most famous colours.

The Miura that inspired the Montegrappa Lamborghini Miura Giallo Fly, designed by Marcello Gandini and unveiled in 1966, is often called the world's first supercar. To mark its 60th anniversary, Montegrappa, Italy's oldest pen maker, created a limited edition of just 60 fountain pens in each of three colours, so the Montegrappa Lamborghini Miura Giallo Fly is a genuinely rare collector's piece.

Inspired by the car

The Montegrappa Lamborghini Miura Giallo Fly borrows its lines from the Miura itself: a long, aerodynamic silhouette, an end piece that recalls the grille, a clip shaped like the slats on the bonnet and a cap ring that echoes the side air vents.

The pop-up headlight

The most playful detail of the Montegrappa Lamborghini Miura Giallo Fly is hidden in the cap: press the button and a miniature headlight in rock crystal pops up, just like the famous lights on the car.

Real car paint

The aluminium body of the Montegrappa Lamborghini Miura Giallo Fly is finished in genuine automotive paint, so the colour matches the cars that inspired it.

18K gold nib

The Montegrappa Lamborghini Miura Giallo Fly writes with an 18K gold nib plated in black ruthenium and engraved with the Automobili Lamborghini shield, fed by a turned ebonite feed.
