The grand success of 1911 series by Sailor paved the way for the launch of another characteristic edition that had a master stroke to it. The success of 1911 has been a result of pure balance, comfort and elegant shape of the series. Riding on the success of the 1911, Sailor decides to launch 1911 Naginata Togi, a series which featured a specially crafted nib by master nib-designer Nobuyoshi Nagahara, and the prowess of his son Yukio Nagahara. The specially tipped nib resembles a Japanese Long Sword, which is what Naginata-Togi means. The rounded tip provides variable line width depending on the angle of holding the pen to the paper. The lower the angle, broader will be the store. In this way the writing is is similar to a Sailor Zoom nib. The tip is also ground so that it writes thicker on the cross stroke and thinner on the down stroke, like an Architect nib. It’s really a blend of Zoom and Architect, which is quite unique and not available from any other pen manufacturer. The Sailor 1911 Naginata-Togi nib features wonderful ink flow and allows the pen to write at any writing angle and remains smooth across the paper. The pen comes with a Sailor converter to be used with bottled ink and can also use Sailor ink cartridges. Within India, we charge a delivery fee of INR 125 for orders below INR 1500. For orders above INR 1500 shipping is free.
International shipping is calculated at Rs 3000 for orders under INR 15000.00 (Approx US$200). For orders above INR 15000.00 (Approx US$200) we don’t charge a shipping fee. This is applicable to standard packaged pens.

Shipping methods and delivery times and tracking:For shipping within India, we have partnered with leading courier and delivery companies like Blue Dart, FedEx, Delhivery, etc. The Courier partner for any particular Indian Pin code depends on the availability of service of any of the provided service partners. Orders placed before 12:00 noon usually get shipped the same day or max in 24 hours. Once the shipment process is started, you would start receiving automated email and SMS updates with tracking details, from our Shipping management partners. We usually ship products only through Airfreight that reach a destination in 2 working days.
For Shipping to International addresses, our preferred courier partners are EMS Speed Post and UPS. Depending on the product combination ordered, order preparation can take about 3 days to ensure safe packaging and to complete the formalities.

Shipping restrictions:For Shipments within India, we don’t have any restrictions in place. If at all, any arise due to non-accessibility of any particular region or city, our support team will coordinate to find the best alternative.
For International orders, there are restrictions in place to courier liquid products i.e Inks. Kindly avoid ordering inks. Even if by oversight, inks are ordered we would refund the order value of inks and ship only the items allowed.
In very rare and unpredictable circumstances, a package is lost during transit. We would wait for a period of 30 days to complete the process of tracking and re-shipping to your right address, failing which we would give a refund at the end of 30 days.
