Gifting is a sentiment and every occasion has its own essence.
I got myself th3 Esterbrook Brass Bee page holder. It is a perfect way to hold my pages in place. The detailing is fine and so attractive. Do not hesitate to buy one! Thank you Makoba
The color somehow reminds me of Waterman Serenity Blue. Wetting the page will only slightly lift off the ink. The ink can smear on a wet page but the writing remains legible. There's no shading. It runs wet but dries quickly on the page. Looks great out of my Lamy 2000 fine which now writes like a medium-fine with this ink. I prefer this over the Documental Black version which is too flat and gray for my preference. Note: the ink did stain the mackralon body of the Lamy 2000 after inking it. Took some vigorous rubbing with water and isopropyl alcohol to get it out. Do not use with expensive pens.
Such a beautiful pen... and the flow of the nib is also stunning.. Absolutely amazing!
Outstanding smoothness and light weight
Perfect shade of pink. Right in the middle of YamaBudo and KosuMosu. A pleasure to write with. Plus the packaging was excellent and very careful.
Shipping and packaging is excellent. The nib was pre-tested before shipment as requested by me. The video and images of testing the pen was shared via whatsapp. Although the nib did not write out of the box the way I expected. Upstroke was rather dry and skipped a lot. I tuned the nib a little bit. It writes excellent after the tuning. It produces a crisp line in all directions.
Its a really good piston filling fountain pen. I like it.
Commendable smoothness of the pen, great service by the makoba team, very helpful n responsive. Thank you.
Ink delivery is smooth.Excellent for work writing quickly
Japanese make one of the world’s best fountain pens and ink, and the SAILOR is one of Japan's three principal pen manufacturers. I love their fountain pens and inks.
It’s a genuine product that is made in Japan. The delivery was on time and was well-packed, ensuring no damage to the pen. It came in a well-built cardboard box and with proper cushioning. It came in a nice box with 2 proprietary (black) ink cartridges and a piston converter. So that one can use it right away.
It’s a high-quality resin body with a 14k Gold nib that literally works buttery smooth on paper. I don’t want to comment much on the quality of this pen, as Sailor is one of the gold standards of fountain pens. Perhaps I will make a separate detailed review later.
The price seems a bit high for the Indian market, but nonetheless, it's value for money. But I won't recommend this pen for beginners or people looking for a starter fountain pen. Overall, it was a satisfying experience! I hope this info helps you to decide on your future orders.
I bought the medium nib and it's extremely smooth and wet. The pen looks amazing with the added clip and the included converter is cute.
This pen combines the convenience of a retractable pen with the elegance of a fountain pen. while it may be pricey, its innovative design and superb performance make it worth the investment fountain pen aficionados.
A premium ebonite with multi-colors at this price point is a fantastic value for money. A must buy.
Excellent product and amazing quality. Good investment to keep your valuable pens safe.
Not only are the selling the best products at the best price, but the are also nice people to do business with.
